Ashbourne WI is all about friendship and fun, education and entertainment. Visitors are always welcome at our meetings and events. We meet monthly in St John's Church Hall on the second Thursday of the month at 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start.

Nationally the WI celebrated the centenary of the WI in 2015 and we celebrated 95 years of WI in Ashbourne in 2021. We're a friendly bunch - isn't it time you came along and found out what it's all about? We'd love to meet you.
You will not be asked for the recipe for a perfect Victoria sponge, or be required to pose for a nude calendar, or produce jam, or sing Jerusalem - the only requirement for membership is to turn up on the 2nd Thursday of the month at St John’s Church Hall!
The Institute was formed in 1926 and currently has around 35 members. We aim to enjoy ourselves with a varied programme, meeting once a month in a relaxed atmosphere and have additional outings / events throughout the year. Most months we have a speaker but there is also time to socialise over a cup of tea. If you're interested why not use the contact form to get in touch, or just come along to our next meeting.
