Meetings:
We meet on the second Thursday of each month, apart from August, when we take a break, although we often join with other Institutes to have a day out.
Visitors are welcome at our meetings. We open the 'door' at 7:15pm and the meetings start at 7:30pm with information about forthcoming activities. This is followed by entertainment, usually a speaker, before time to chat.
Please use the 'contact us' form to let us know you are interested in joining us.

The Wider WI:
As an Institute, we are part of a much larger organisation and often meet up with members from other institutes. In Derbyshire alone there are over 5,400 members.
Subscription:
Our subscription year now runs from April to April.
The WI annual membership for 2024-2025 is £48. Of this, we keep £23.60 to run the Ashbourne Institute and the remainder is split between the Derbyshire Federation (£11.30) and the National Federation (£13.10) to fund county and national work respectively.
Membership of Ashbourne WI FOR 2024-25 ONLY will be £44.
There is a pro rata subscription for new members who have not previously been a member of any WI in the 12 months prior to their joining Ashbourne WI.
If you wish to join another WI you can be a Dual Member normally paying a further £23.60 to the second WI. For 2024-2025 only this will be £19.60 to join Ashbourne WI as a dual member. There is no pro rata fee for dual membership.
